This is our actual machine

Not a stock photo of someone else's workshop — these three frames are one print on our own Creality K2, from the first layers to lifting it off the plate. No injection moulds, no minimum order of five hundred. A nozzle lays melted plastic down about a fifth of a millimetre at a time until the thing you asked for exists.

What we actually do

We print things to order on a Creality K2 Combo. You pick something from the shop or send us a file, we print it, check it, and post it.

Most orders are printed within one to three days. Big prints and multi-colour jobs take longer, and we'll tell you before you wait.

We print in two plastics: PLA+ for almost everything, and PETG when a part has to live in a hot car or outside. You don't have to know which one you want — tell us where it's going and we'll pick.

Nothing sits in a warehouse. Every order is printed after you place it, which is why you can pick the colour and put your own text on things.

If a print turns up damaged or wrong, send a photo and we'll print it again. You don't need to post the first one back.

Pick a colour

Because we print after you order, you choose the colour instead of taking whatever's in a box. Multi-colour prints come off the machine that way — no gluing.

Send your own file

Replacement parts, prototypes, props, one-off gifts. Drop an STL on the Custom page and you'll see the price before you talk to anyone.

Checked before it ships

Supports removed, edges cleaned up, and test-fitted where that's possible. If it wouldn't pass on our own desk, it doesn't go in the box.

Two plastics, and we pick for you

There's nothing to work out before you order. Tell us where the thing is going to live and we'll choose the right one — or say which you'd prefer and we'll use that.

PLA+ Almost every order

Sharp detail, stiff, and the widest colour range. Right for desk pieces, décor, models, toys and gifts. The one thing it doesn't like is being left in a hot car.

PETG Heat & outdoors

Tougher and far more heat-tolerant. Choose it for car interiors, anything that lives outside, garage brackets, and parts that get knocked about.

    Choose something from the shop and set the colour and any text you want on it. Or upload your own STL and the site prices it for you on the spot.

    We print it

    Your order goes on the machine. One to three days for most things. You'll hear from us if yours is one of the slower ones.

    It ships with tracking

    We email the tracking number the moment the label is made, so you're not guessing where it is.

Why this is a safe order to place

We're new. That's a fair reason to be careful, so here is exactly how your money and your details are handled — no small print.

Five things we can promise in writing

  • Your card details never reach us Payment happens on Stripe's own secure checkout. We're told the payment succeeded — we never see or store the card number.
  • You can still cancel after paying Request a cancellation from your account. If it hasn't gone on the machine yet, we approve it and refund you.
  • Wrong or damaged means a free reprint One photo is all we need. We print it again and cover the postage, and you keep the one that turned up wrong.
  • We don't sell or share your details Your address is used to post your order and nothing else. The full policy is on the privacy page.

Before you order

How long does an order take?

Most orders are printed within one to three days, then shipped with tracking. Large prints and multi-colour jobs take longer, and we tell you before you wait.

Is it safe to pay on this site?

Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on their own secure checkout. Your card number is never sent to ThirdLayer3D and we never store it. The whole site runs over HTTPS.

What if my print arrives damaged or wrong?

Send a photo to support.thirdlayer3d@gmail.com and we print it again at no cost. You don't need to post the first one back.

Can I cancel an order?

Yes. Request a cancellation from your account page. If your order hasn't gone on the machine yet, we approve it and refund you.

Can you print my own STL file?

Yes. Upload an STL on the Custom page and the site prices it on the spot from the model size and your choice of material and infill. No waiting for a quote by email.

Which material should I choose?

You don't have to choose. PLA+ suits almost everything: sharp detail and the widest colour range. PETG is for anything that will sit in a hot car or live outdoors. Tell us where the part will live and we'll pick for you.

Do you ship internationally?

Orders ship from the USA. Get in touch before ordering if you're outside the US and we'll confirm what postage costs.

Can I put my own text on a product?

On products marked as personalisable, yes. Because every order is printed after you place it, your text is part of the model rather than a sticker on top.

A note before you order. This isn’t a warehouse and it isn’t a dropshipper. It’s one printer, and I load the filament myself. When you order, your thing gets printed — it doesn’t come off a shelf.

That’s why the colour is your choice, why your name can be part of the model instead of a sticker on it, and why stock numbers on this site are small and honest. If something turns up wrong, send a photo and I’ll print it again. You keep the first one.
